How we help
There's no such thing as one perfect posture — but there is such a thing as your body spending too long in positions it isn't coping with. That's where we come in.
Modern life asks our bodies to hold still for hours at a time, and they push back with stiffness, tension and pain. Rather than lecturing you to 'sit up straight', we look at how your body is managing its daily load — where it's stiff, where it's overworking — and combine hands-on care with realistic changes that survive contact with a real work day.
The issue is less how you sit than how long — any posture held too long becomes a problem.
When some joints stop moving well, muscles elsewhere compensate and fatigue.
Screen height, chair support and desk layout quietly shape your position for hours a day.
The postural muscles need endurance to do their job — deconditioning makes good positions hard to hold.
Your care starts with a thorough consultation and physical assessment to identify what's driving your symptoms. From there, we build a plan around you — which may include chiropractic adjustments (traditional or low-force), soft tissue therapy, targeted home exercises, and practical advice for your daily routine. We review your progress regularly, explain everything in plain language, and refer you for imaging or to other practitioners whenever that's the better path.
Good to know
You can meaningfully change how your body holds itself, yes — through restoring movement in stiff areas, building endurance in the supporting muscles, and adjusting your daily setup. What we won't promise is a cosmetic transformation; the goal is a body that handles your day comfortably.
Sitting isn't evil — unbroken sitting is the problem. The best posture advice is often 'your next posture is your best posture': regular movement breaks beat any perfect chair position. We'll help you build a realistic movement routine around your work.
We look at how you stand, sit and move, test the mobility of key regions like your upper back and hips, and assess the endurance of your postural muscles. You leave knowing specifically what's driving your discomfort — not just that your 'posture is bad'.
